Nebs and I went for distance, tried my Tusky lightning 6.0, Hardy's wahoo? with my asymmetric 23cm weedy. Very pleased with the sail and the asy nature of the fin was evident by the different lines Nebs and I were sailing. wind started out 10- 18, then dropped to 5 to 10, by which time we had almost tacked to the other side of the estuary! was a hard grovel back. Had a break and wind picked up again, about 15 to 20.

Novara Estuary, 10-20 knots, 6m Ezzy, Bender's fin, Hardie's light wind waveboard. Going for distance with Decrepit. Wind was a bit light to start with, we tacked upwind further than I'd been before. Decrep disappeared downwind so I followed him back, we had a drink and then the wind picked up to a beautiful 15-20 knots. The sun was shining, I managed about a dozen shortboard tacks (never done them before) and was feeling really cocky so went for a duck gybe... planted the mast and elmo'd Hardie's beautiful board with my harness hook. Dammit! So had to cut the session short. Best session I've had in months, apart from that.

Went at Wannanup for a sesh to clean up all the yesterday toxins left in my blood! The tide at the lowest, waited 2 hours and started at 18.00. EXTRA GUSTY session 0-20 knots, reminded me Point Walter the other day but in better cause you get push IN not OUT! I wanted to test some adjustments I made on my 72L!! Sonic 72L, 24 weedy, 5,8 RS Almost happy with my settings!
