JP SlalomPro IV 68, Elmo Frankenfin 45º 31.5cm, NP RS4 6.2m.

Not a good start today, got up starting to cough up spots of blood in me chest oysters, figured a sail would be better for loosening up the chest than trying to cough the crap out. Frown

Went down there wind a bit up and down, procrastinated a fair while feeling sorry for myself whilst watching Nebs and Evets ripping huge runs across the estuary. Eventually went out on the second run went for a longer blat found didn't have the strength to hang onto the boom, got of water felt sorry for myself some more packed up went home. Cry

Pre-emptive congrats to Evets who was ripping out there today, had a 32.6 on the dial. Awesome work mate!! Cool

Well done HardsCool

Of to eldocotory tomorow for me

Binny says: That's wahat happens when you are out of condition, carrying winter weight, you fly through the air and land hard!!  I'm feeling fine now.  Got colour back in my world, was black and white and the horizon was at an angle, had to talk myself into consciousness.

Cool2 more pbs.On the water before 0700 with Nebs.

Before this weekend I had gone over 30 knots twice in 6 months. I had a good weekend!

Initially on Isonic105 and 6.5 tush Raptor and JP 36 seaweed, hugely overpowered, overfinned and managed 29 knots on way out. came in and changed down

JP 265 freeride Evets reboxed 22cmweedy (weedy is right, it is not keen on going upwind unless hugely powered up which I often was not) and 5m NP MPR... that sail is really showing its age but delivered 33kts instantaneous (from Realspeed) and some more over 30. My first time on the board, it is awseome thanks Nebs, I look forward to lots of use from it including the LOCCool

Then as the wind was all over the place I went for Tush raptor5.7 rigged on NP mast ( it really does not rig even close to right I must stop doing that) plus the infamous secret weapon which gave me 4 runs over 30 kts ( just a bit) and quite a lot of pain. While doing 30.5 kts I burried the nose of the secret weapon in some chop to see what would happen...... managd 89kts displayed max speed and a displayed 45knots  10 second. I ache all over now, the 2 events seem linkedCry

BUT I GOT MY 5*10 OVER 30 ktsSmileSmileSmileSmileSmileSmileSmile

What a great day to be out on the water with great people.

What an evenful sesion Brave Binny knocked herself out. Thank god for boyancy vest. Steve did a new speed pb. and had a massive stack with 89 knots on the dial. Elmo sailed sick as a dog - coughing up blood!

In the strong gusts the chop got pretty scarySurprisedand I kept saying to myself ' Light feet, light feet' I was just so full of edrenilan at the end of those fast runs I had to stop.

Guys for myself, it's not all that bad, of to the quack tomorow, I've had similar before but did a fair bit more damage before the doctor put us onto serious cough suppresants, already doing that now.

The sailing has actually helped clean up the crap for about 3-4 hours of peace from the coughing.

I would Also dispel the rumours pertaining to the algae being my snot in the shallows started by certain members of the SRM.

The real concern for the day is for Robin, all I can say Thank Furk for the PFD get well soon little lady, you should also get yourself checked out after being knocked out
