craiggoo (2352km):  2 categories   An nice warm day of northerlies. Nothing too strong, so I went out on a 7.8. Got lots of practice gybing the big wide board in the heavy chop. | ||||||||||||||||||
Michael Harris (1478km):  1 categories CA Sl70, Simmer 07 7.6m, Tectonics 42cm. A nice sunny day at Manly, Whangaparaoa. NWerly of 16 kn av gusting 20kn+. Found it very hard to get settled in the conditions. Extremely gusty inside the bay, often way overpowered then underpowered on the same run. Better wind outside the bay but too rough for decent speeds. Never really felt comfortable. Probably would have done better on the XR board and 7.0m sail and stayed out wide.
