I got a weird reading on the the 2 second.  I had a 42.38kt which looked like a spike but the second highest 2 sec peak was 31.18.  Looking at the data it appears during a run down the strip but given all the other peaks are around 23-26kts I am not sure if I should post it or not.

Thanks Hardie. Really happy with my Alpha's today...which in turn is really helping improve my gybes. Alot smoother & coming out with more speed. 20 on the dot seems weird though.

Looks like it picked up again after we left, although more westerly. Did you stick around Drift?

Drift have a look at the lead-up 1 sec intervals (speed) on your 31.18 if you have numbers similar building/leading up at 1 sec intervals which look realistic then might be OK, try that first.

Well done mick and ej.  Looks like I should take a sabbatical more often.  Evan great alpha, looks like those gybes are coming more sweet now.  All that light wind practise.  Drift I obviously have to watch my back on the 2 sec peak.  You are marching forward!!

I've looked at the data again and I reckon it was a spike..the figures on the one second either side are 24's and 25's so, even though I'd like to claim it, I am afraid it is bogus.

PS....Even though I am not in the league of Spottys and Daffs, I gotta admit it was a massive buzz to see the 30 on the screen!
