CR7.7, Sonic85, Drake34. Early sail before the wind came in Frown. Normally don't like the 7.7 on the 85, but today felt pretty good.

Gusty melville conditions. But fun in the gusts.Nice and flat near the bank for the gybes.Tongue out

5.8 koncept and my 90l gladiatorwith the 24 weedy

Jp SS Gold 118, NP RSSIII 6.2, JP 36 Weedy.

What a bloody awful day arrived just as the breeze was going into a yoyo pattern Cry

Basically sailed between the sand bars and hooked into a couple of gusts down wind back to the beech.

At least I got a couple of reasonable gybes in

Exocet Cross 104L, 94L & 84L with 6.6M KA Koyote & 5.9M Koyote & varios fins.

Quick blast while the wind held.

Tried out the new boards, 104 & 84, really nice, quick, comfy & gybe nice too

No downwinders today just sailing across the wind so plenty of speed to come from these boards.

Annie (12994km):

5.9KA Koyote & 94 Lt Exocet Cross. Way overpowered - should have taken note of what Stribo had rigged.Embarassed

Changed down to the 5.3KA Koyote & 84Lt Exocet Cross- (inaugural dunking).

Spent a bit of time with footstraps but had a really good sail & really happy with my new board.Cool

Problem is Nelson had a fairly good sail when he had a go - I may have trouble getting my hands on it again.Wink

Got to Melville early and had a good sail on 7.6 and isonic 111. Changed down to 6.6 and 86, alright sailing up to Pt Walter but wind dropped so abandoned the downwinder and headed straight to Lucky Bay to de rig. Still got to Peli Pt for beers and hot dogs. Good Day.

Cheryl (8232km):

Melville, then downwinder. 5.6m, isonic 76

Thanks to the organisers and helpers for the downwinder.

Annika, sorry I didn't see you swimming. I was wondering where you were and it didn't even occur to me that you may be in trouble.

p.s.

(I'm glad you didn't notice me sawing your mast in half while you weren't looking!!)

Bummer Annika...but a new mast is cheap compared to the WRX engine I cooked yesterday!! Would have preferred to have been sailing (now there's stating the bleedin' obvious!)

Great numbers Jesper and Darryl.... the wind looked really up & down from where I was out near the airport.

Was hoping for a little session on Sat arvo but the wind never came in so sat and chatted for a while with Glenn and the canoeing BOGDog.

And I hope the leg is feeling alright Mike....

Great mile and hour, Darryl.

How has Jesper only got a 2.26 hour?!!! Did he miss a number out?
