Sailed at Queens Lake with Mark. Wind was from the Ne. Started sailing at 11 in 5-10knots which after 45 minutes built up to a solid 15-18 knots for the rest of afternoon. Finished at 4.15 when the wind started to die. Wind was coming over the sand flats so water was fairly flat so got plenty of fast runs . Good to get some flat water after sailing in the river during the week.

F2 sx 105, Gaastra 7.5m Gtx, Jp 31cm weed fin.

                  Had a great day sailing with Steve at Queenslake. Finally got into the  29 Knots for a 2 second peak.

Had to leave at 3.30pm. Wished I could have kept sailing with Steve.Cry

good going on the PB Mark. Bit of a bummer you achieved this now rather than the new year.

 

Sailing over 100kms in a day is a great achievement too. Congratuations Steve.

 

Jon and I got skunked down the coast. Bugger all wind today and yesterday. Saw that it was a windy weekend in Sydney so really had the sh!ts this evening. Oh well the girls enjoyed the sailing and we had a great weekend otherwise.

Thanx Karl,

I could have done over 100 kms with Steve if I didn't have to take Sharon to work 

I will be getting a IS 101 in the new year. So I will still have room for improvement next year. I reacon I still have another 4 knots I could get out of the 122 in the right conditions.
