Not great direction, lots of short runs, gusty winds. A 9m and XL slalom would have been better, but wanted to get out on medium slalom kit for a change. Sonic 100 and 8m first, then switched to the iS111, this was the faster combo in the under cooked winds.

The cold wind made it feel stronger than it actually was and once on the water I was wishing I'd riggged my 8.5. Stuck with it for a while and then decided to change boards to my X-Cite Ride 145 hoping to have some more planing time but then the wind dropped off even more. The direction wasn't great for Wk and for some reason I never really felt "tuned in". Ah well, it was good to get the more speed orientated kit wet, the forecast is looking half decent for tomorrow and I'm not back in work until Thursday so here's hoping for better things in the morning !

NB - all the 'fast' speeds for the session were on the JP Super Sport 116. After I changed boards I never managed to get the X-Cite Ride 145 over low 20's.
