Haven't sailed murray mouth for 2 years.  It has changed.  The dredger has cleaned out alot of the sand.  It started out a good direction - w - s/w and low tide but after a few runs the wind swung and dropped.  Andreas and me were greeted by a couple of packs of seals - they are funny:-)  They must have known they were playing in the speed area - they looked like they were laughing at us.

It looked like that was it but 2 hours later the wind swung south to south west and cranked.  It meant you couldn't run the flatter water,  had to ride in the channel but it was great fun!  The tide had come in and had rolling swell though the channel but it made for a couple of hours of great sailing:-)

Sailed with Chris Stott. Light at first on 136LJP with 7.0m Tushingham.  One minute 15k next 5k.    Good runs but all over the place. Kicked in 20k at 3.30 for 30 mins, dropped then kicked again.  Not the best sail I’ve `ever had, maybe next week. Boggy 2 KA 72 Data.

AB+ 67 Deb sl2 36cm Blade 7m Lake Bonney 8-23knts

First sail on the AB 67,so i thought i'd use the session for a bit of tuning, board felt fantastic from the start but i used the wrong boom on my 7m and couldn't outhaul the sail far enough and blew my arms out on the very first run which was over 12kms.
Took the rest of the session to recover some strength back but overall great sail got some nice runs along Pelican Point(nudist beach) which slingshot me out near the middle of the lake over 1 foot rolling chop pity i kept missing out on the stronger gusts though, love this spot.

Lol,don't know about a Greek Popeye but my arms were that stuffed i could only sit my front hand ontop of the boom, did'nt have enough strength to grip it.
