Sandy Point, not epic today but best breeze everyone has had to date, fairly steady. nice direction in the morning but in the arvo swung right into the west. hard day in the end, broke my toe bout 10am doing alpha'sFrown, nice purple colour now..met a lot more of the inter state boys nice day.

fun day at Sandy point with lots of interstate crew. Started the day on the missile and Koncept 5.0m had a few good runs but never felt fully lit. Tide came in tide came in and huddled in my boardbag trying to keep warm. Had to listen to petes potty mouth( and his interesting anatomically correct seaweed scultures)  and had a yarn to some great people. Tide turned and swung west.. Sonic 85 and Koncept 5.8 with some great bearaways. Great fun day...

My aim for the day was to post "something" after a long time out of the water. All I can report is a torn ligament in my left knee after, as far as I'm being told, the most spectacular crash many people have seen in SP for a while, half way through my first runTongue out. Yes Pat, I have forgotten how to sail...Embarassed
