Very pleased with the speeds for a 121L 8.0M 43fin. A new PB for this kit. :)

Windy all day today, luckily it stayed around for an after work session. Another sunny one.

Sun and summer suit...plus a steady wind all afternoon  Square to beach..so not a fast direction for Portland Harbour. Concentrated on Alpha 500 and 1 hr (new PB on hour).!

Pete was on a distance mission, so followed him on a couple of his mile runs and bingo...a new mile PB!   Sundowners on order!

Stoked with this session, been sailing here over 30 years and just scored pb average and max by some margin :), Langstone Harbour is not a speed strip at all so well pleased with the speeds. Wanted to do distance/hour but too windy and choppy. Great numbers by Pete in Portland Harbour on big kit, nice one.

Nice day down at Portland, with constant 20 knots of wind. tried the trusted 135 JP as I need a 44cm fin for the 112L JP Slalom.

Brilliant mile and hour Norm and well done to everyone else with your PB's, how does the Matrix do it after such a long session yesterday as well?

Sorry swags, GPS wouldnt turn on, went out on simmer6.3 and kode but origianlly had the mistral ready for some speed and nmi's. I am absolutely gutted! Just hope Nick has some in stock tomorrow.

Posted on GPSSS about it and sent Tris Haskins an email asking for advice. Turns on when plugged in, but straight off when I disconnect. Updated software, no different, taken it apart and disconnected battery then put back together and no difference. The charge indicates a chargin battery and I left it earlier for a full charge so the battery is reading. Something is wrong with something.........

To keep you in suspense though, I was pretty quick today, and practiced my gybes a lot, got round a few at either end planing but not sure if I would get within the 50m for an alpha, they were quite wide. Maybe on one or two of them I would have got a good alpha. Just need a new gps (or even 2 just in case)

One bonus is I now have a backup 460mast as Fred snapped his bottom half, and I had a matching bottom half in the shed.

Just trawled t'internet and given up looking for a solution. Emailed locosys and got fingers crossed that Windtek has some in stock tomorrow ready for the weekend.

I did read this...... http://www.gps-speedsurfing.com/default.aspx?mnu=forum&forum=6&val=22770

That was the same firmware I had so I guess next time I will be even quicker Innocent

Fantastic start to the month everyone, well done on the pb av and max Ian.
