brabo (2010km):  1 categories  Melville Beach, WA, AU iso111, OD 6.5, canefire 42 I hit the water just before 4pm. The wind had just started to pick up a little. I was very keen to test my new 42cm fin today so I hadn't bothered to pack my smaller board. Well, I could have used that smaller board (and sail) the first 40 minutes. It was a little bit too much me. Then the wind dropped quite a bit for 40 minutes or so. I thought of packing up, but I am glad that I stayed out long enough. Suddenly the wind picked up again, and the conditions were pretty good for my combo, I had some really enjoyable runs. A disappearing sun forced me off the water in the end.
