6.6m koncept, 105 V4, 33cm weedie, 90 V4 31cm weedie. Bit of a blast before everyone showed up, had some fun dodging the kiters, but the wind picked up and they had to leave for some reason Undecided   Should have stuck around in alphaland with Hards and Crasher, might be a bit of a contest happening this arvy Cool

Safety Bay, WA, AU CArbon Art SP 50, NP RS Slalom MK IV 6.2, Sawn off Flying objects weedy

Tide was too high today which prevented epic speeds being reached, Joined by Sammy and Pointman who took the trophy for today.

Took me a while to get comfortable on the kit and find the fast line today but once I found it the 36 peaks kept flowing run after run, shoulda done one or two more to get the 36 5 by 10 but hands were starting to struggle and all my company had gone so I was stuck fighting the kites alone.

Swell in the sound was massive today great fun trying to gybe a speed board out there, got away with a few but learnt a few new was to fall off.

An Ambulance crew was working on a kiter who had possible spinal problems out on the point near the end of the session, I hope it turns out ok for the guy.

Glory Holes, Australind, WA, AU shithouse on/off swinging wildly SE'er ranging from 5-20knts

RRD 122 V3 X-fire, 8.5m 2012 Overdrive, 44FONitro

Yes my loccl is crap in a SE'er got sucked in by the moving trees. Should have stayed at home. Highlight was watching Ratz get smashed by a 180deg wind change and while laughing out of no where the same gust swung a further 90deg and back winded me and slam dunked me three pointer styleCool

Elmo (31413km):
4463 days ago

JP Slalom 65 & jp weed 36cm, JP Speed 54 & elmo chop buster wee 28cm, NP RSR 7.0m

Started the session on the slalom board but was having troubles yet again with my from foot coming out so spent a bit of time trying to sort it out by buggerising around with settings. Eventually the wind looked like it was picking up so I switched over (optemisticaly) to the speed board.

Hardz talked us into going down to Alpha land to practise turning corners, Decided to give the naughty a go as the tide was high enough to hit the Snidey run, unfortunately on my attempt timed it perfectly so I was eating Crashers chop all the way even with that I was stil on target to get a high 31 maybe a 32 until I got into alphaland where as a sign of things to come the wind just ran out of puff.

Spent some time down in Alphaland licking monkey balls, reminding me of why I hardly ever go down there, realistically it wasn't much chop for gybing anyway.

On a fading breeze decided I'd had enough of the fun down in alpha land and spent the next 20mins tacking back up wind.

Got back to shore with the wind dropping and thought "you little ripper, I timed that right"

Eventually Huey showed his sense of humour by having the wind come up again so I thought I'll give the naughty another go, the run started out well again, but like the first one as soon as I hit Alphaland the wind started disapearing, and when I mis-spell disapearing I mean it realy was, had to start pointing it up wind as soon as I got there as the was bugger all to keep going down wind, got to the end of the run stopped in chin deep water and there was nothing to get going (insert choice mutterings here)

Oh dear, look over there's Evets struggling, look around theres Sammy holding his sail up, this is not good, eventualy there was enough to get my fat arseup and out of the water and with some major pumping hanging under the boom managed to get going, thought you little ripper until I hit the first hole where there was just zero wind causing me to crash backwards as there was nothing to hold the sail up, watched Sammy come up and do the same thing with out the crash heard the expletives from about 100m away, was like that all the way back had to restart 3 times more to get going back, which I can't really complain about in comparison to Hardies effort coming back who seemed to have his own permanant wind shaodow following him all the way back.

New first for Elmo's getting attacked by wildlife, F'ken jellyfishat least 4 seperate hits, one of which left a stinger up my boardines, which was the gift which kept on giving.

Still it ws a fun session quite pleased and not a little bit amazed to be on a speed board again

Big Dave, I have your harness and Jacket which you left down near the shower

Took up crasher's offer to try his 47 nude, put the avi 5.3 and assy 19.5 on it.

First run gave me the NM and 2sec. Then went to check out yesterday's spot, not quite enough water or wind.

Changed back to my 48 to get a better comparison, but unfortunately by the time I got back on the water the wind had gone religious, tried a few alphas and bear aways, but could only get 31s & 32s.

The nude felt really nice, gybe's differently to  mine, seems to tighten the turn as you go round, not sure about speed as the wind had changed too much to tell.

Had a bit of a slog home when the wind dropped out.
