4406 days ago Melville, RI 7.8, RRD V4 114 Canefire 40 & Talon 38, THen RRD V4 129, Canefire 44. Long day , on the water at 12.30 with fish pants, bit weary now. Usual Westerly up and down more than a hooker panties on a Sat night. Started on the RRD 114 for the first few hours but had to spend a fair bit on time waiting for wind. After deciding it was not coming in anymore decided to change up to the 129. Very impressed with the range of this board, yesterday it was comfortable with a 10.7 and 66 fin, today 7.8 and 44. It just flies over the chop in control, still managed low 30's on it at the end of the day.

Thinking a 36 is required with this board, the 34s feel like they are letting go, the weedy was OK & the 38 seemed good but the steam had dropped by then.
Nice to get out with some decent steam for a change, it's been a while
