Just a lovely sail in my shortie on a great sunny day in Hunstanton

What a top day after breakfast at a still Levington, followed by a long walk at Orford and with the breeze increasing we were back in Felixstowe at 3:30 and with Chris Phillips rigging at the Fludgers I decided to go there as no one at the dip. With 14/16 mph on the gauge not enough for my 7.5 on the Xantos I decided to give the 8.5 Lightning a try for the first time !!! It worked okay on the board although gybings a bit long winded !!! I made the mistake of sailing too broad the first run and it took me awhile to get back as abit under at times and with a strong tide running :( I then had some nice runs along the front as far as the pier before the wind disappeared - still a nice unexpected sail in the sunshine :)
