could not get it together today. wind was cranking and thought i was going fast but just didnt show on the dial

i think noel smoked me on peak speed.

had a good turn up of australind locals with me noel darryl and john here.

used a carbon art sp50 , reflex 2 7.0 combe today

RRD X-Fires 122&105, Reflex3 7.0m, too many fins to list

Rocked up and it was not lookig that windy. Against my better judgement i rigged the 7.0m my usual routine was mixed up due to 3 work phone calls. Any way hit the water straight on the plane, 50m out the channell i realise my phone (HTC HD2) is still in my boardies pocket. No worries its still dry. i pull off a sweet planing gybe and headed in. Feeling smug i leant back inthe harness and BANG the mast snapped just above the boom. Result was me  treading water going WTF just happed. Luckily no sail damage (the only positive). After alot of loud verbal therepy. I regrouped and re rigged and has a very average sail as by now the wind was on/off like snides jocks after he has had a good feed of chilli con carne. Anyway the 7.0m rig just as nice on my Tushy 430

Edit- took Decrepits advise and bingo. Only took 5mins
