Ended up back on the big gear for the last 45 min

Good arvo sail with Jman and a heap of the pooh-crew.

(thought I'd better post when I saw Jman was the only Bonno Blaster to log a session)

Left the Furura in the van and dusted off the old Mistral Score V111 freestyle board for a bit of a change. It was really nice to sail in those conditions. Not that fast, but fun and comfortable.

I was a bit underdone with the 6.6 at times, but for most of the arvo it was fine.

Had one of best Bonno sails for so long. Plenty of downwind and up wind test runs for the coming events. We sailed from Bonno to Rickets Point and then back to the Frankston side of the Seaford Pier amd back. Then some long freewave runs. I should of taken the GPS out, but when your over 2 mile out sea it's a long way to get it. I'll have to do it next time. I took out the Carve 111 with the C3 Venom 40cm and the NCX 6.5. What a combo. I think I found my new favourite board. It has heaps of speed, handles chop like a wave board, goes upwind with easy. Great for free wave riding and can be bumped and jumped. I've nicked named it the magic carpet.

Looked like a great afternoon, was watching the trees moving at home at our BBQ, again as many times before, you're planning the family or social functions around the forecast, and it's all wrong on the dayFrown. Your battery in the GPS is probably dead Steve, might want to check Wink

Bonno was a bit quite with sailors. Only Foxy and I for most of the day. Not even Adam.
