Melville Beach, WA, AU HWR, VMG 76, Reflex4 12.0. A little bit over powered, made hard work of it. Graphs show 20 - 25 knots when I first went out and it felt every bit that.

Reflex III 7.0; RRD X-F 90; Vector delta 27 @ Melville after work...

Gusty, strange session...really in 2 halves...quite choppy in the first half but felt nicely powered...in the second half, for some reason the power didn't seem to be there (wind dropping??)....then right at the end a breakage (luckily near the bank and a long walk in). All in all pretty happy with the speeds, but just couldn't get up to 35 for some reason...

Futura 101. 7m Lightning, 40cm CF

Picked a bad day to go on Borgy's Big Adventure (Peli Pt to Melville). Expected the wind to drop and it did the oppositeSurprised. Survived the washing machine on the way up only to be thrown into it and spun a few times by it on the way back.

Hiya Steve,

Not sure that your pb will make up for the mast breakage (or the long walk back to shore) but at least there was a positive to offset some of the negative.
