Big blow and some testing to do. 5m Simmer SCR is, as expected a real little powerhouse and coped well in the gusts..now designated as a Kirby sail. Zara's Sonntag GPS 5 220 got an outing and was a surprisingly good, even in the chop coming back upwind.  Finished up when my knees told me..and just before the strongest winds.  Well off the big boy scores, but best for me this year.  Happy with that!

Afterwork dash with too much faffing. Needed to get a downhaul pulley for the 6 as it was the one I used to replace a broken one.....which I went and sealed up with epoxy and couldnt get back off my 7.3!!!!

Nice to try a speedboard for the first time, very hard work though. Happy with the peak (37.01), beating myself up over the average!

Feeling like I have sorted a lot of issues with my speed over the last couple of sessions and pleased with the way its going.  All fastest runs using the Select 21

That was a difficult day and the only way to go fast was to grit your teeth and go for it and hope it didn't finish up in a wipeout....as one run did as I managed do 40 knots into 2\"of water!  Had that moment when you have to give your self a damage report and check you still have 2 arms, legs and your head is still on your shoulders...just a broken harness and harness line so very lucky.  Never seen fin carnage like it!  Managed to bin 2 of my favorite fins.  Thanks for the loan of the fin&line Ian but I had lost my edge after that.

R.I.P. Select 21 and 20moo

Wrong kit choice for the conditions , it was difficult to get decent 10 secs unless you let it go deep into the chop. wind really kicked in and I should of been on the W44 and a 5m, the Falcon and my 5.4 was a handful today.

Still I think a PB average for me at Southend so not all bad. Saw Jimbo have a massive crash trying to sail in one inch of water,  could of been very nasty indeed, luckily he got away with it and just asked me if I got any more fins that need testing Lol.

Well done on your NM pb Mike thats impressive in the conditions. and nice to see Lance getting back on it, be good to see you more often.
