Canton Beach, NSW, AU Mistral Edge 268, 6.6m M6 Gaastra, CK95 mast, old bent boom and a cut down weedy.

Good to see everyone, a long time between sails for me and only a quick one. Sial was obviously too big but just managable.

Just missed out on 35 again, still very happy!

Not too bad though only one broken and bent mast extension!

Canton Beach, NSW, AU Southerly 30/35 at first then backed to 20/30. Tough conditions but heaps of fun. So many guys out all having a ball. 4.9 koncept 81 Patrik 18 delta slalom. Go Marauders!!!

Sanctuary Point, NSW,

Pretty good sail at Sanctuary Point in the Southerley. The main problem was that I was too tired from yesterday. Loft 7.4m2 sail. Heaps of people sailing again.

Queens Lake, NSW, AU

Sailed with Steve. My Ankle was still killing me from Wet n Wild. Most times I could not get my right foot into the straps because of my ankle.

Canton Beach, NSW, AU Heaps of fun. 2nd sail on the X-fire - slowly tuned it in as the day progressed, but rarely felt comfortable. Great day out, heaps of guys and a great vibe.

Sanctuary Point, NSW, AU.  It was great to be back on the water after a long break. Sailing with Sam (my 12 year old son) was a huge pleasure.  He got his first planing run in the harness and straps.  Well done mate. Thanks to all the Sanctuary Point crew for their encouragement, especially AUS2001 and KA360. Thanks guys. He just might become a Gustbuster and not a Marauder.  Nothing like a bit of competition in the family.

Mark Jordan (40659km):

disappointing , today was going to be the big one , ka koncept 5.8m patrik speed 47 , super hard work and lots of walking , happy for the first use of the sail , last few runs with more downhaul where sweet , wind only just over 20knots , 30 knots in port macquarie , good to sail with the newy boys and the locals

Queens Lake with Mark. Horrible gusty squally southerly, at 0-25 knots. Gave up after an hour.

Manning Point, New South Wales, AU

Falcon Slalom 79, KA RAce 7.1m, Vector delta Speed 25

Not quite enough to be lit today, but enough to plane down the run comfortably when the gusts were in. Was around 17/18kn from the SSW. Didnt bring the big gear due to the killer forecast - wont do that again - I will bring it all next time as the 113 would have been nicer to rip around on.

A lot of walking back up the run due to the wind being so on, then off making it hard to plane on a small board back up the run. Buggered from the walking in sand, not the sailing.

Sailed with MarkJ, Glenn, Dion, Cluffy, Greg and Byron.   Fun in the sun.

Sailing Club, Wallis Lake, NSW, AU

Gusty 20-35kts S-SSW, choppy in close but reasonably flat in the middle. All the locals turned up for some hi wind sailing and a few tourists as well.

Started on 4.7 but changed down to 3.7 for comfort, 264 Saxo and 25cm wave fin.

Wallis Lake, NSW, AU

Great to catch up with all the crew at Wallis Lake again. Good turnout.

Nice and flat out in the middle, but couldn't go for more than 10seconds broad without hitting a clump of weed and the fin letting go. Some good racing with Rob!

Naish Global wave 90/ Session 4.5/ 18cm weed

Canton Beach, NSW, AU - A late arvo' session; everyone was packing up when I arrived. SSE 18-20 and gusting.

Thought about rigging the 6.5 V8 but it looked too gusty so I rigged the next smallest sail, a Zone 5.3 wave sail with Extreme 100L 53w Slalom and 21 cm MUF. Nice when it was blowing, a tad on the small size when it was not....which became more frequent as the session went on.

Sailed only with 2 others who I did not know but still had a nice time. The wind angle meant you had to be careful not to go out into the chop which is somewhat deadly with a MUF fin. Lost it a few times but just managed to get it back. Tried to keep in the shallows and get a few sweet runs on the old board. As the wind started to die I was lucky to get in as the board started to go under as it slowed.

Nice to see the old board can still motor.

Cheers Marauders.

Gusty SW at Mallacoota.  Couldn't quite get things comfy, but at least the company was awesome.  Stoked to be back sailing with the Pit Crew's lovely northern branch Cool

Great to catch up with all the guys from the lake.

Had trouble keeping up Tom.

Was great fun anyway.

Wallis Lake, NSW, AU

Started up with Isonic107Ltrs and Severne 6.5NCXPro but quickly got overpowered as the wind was blowing strong gusts and the chop was too hard to handle. Rigged down to 5.6 and 85Ltr isonic board with 31cm fin. Still overpowered most of the time but manageable. Excellent turnout on the water with many casual windsurfers and kitesurfers. felt like demo kit day. Good to see Peter, Gabe and Chris back from Tassie and Tom also. Also Matt, Bill, Anton, Rob and Geoff from Bathurst were there.

Wallis Lake, NSW, AU Gusty windy day. Lot of sailors out, both windsurfers and kiters. Rob, Tom, Matt, Gabe, Bill, Andre and Anton among the locals. Good to see Geoff from Bathurst back for his usual holiday break. Others from Sydney and Melbourne and other parts as well. Eased off later in the day.

Sailing Club, Wallis Lake, NSW, AU

A very blowy day with the change belting through about mid morning.S-SSW 20-30knots I reckon. Good to see many familiar faces on water.Carpark was jam packed, so parking and rigging was a bit tricky. Rigged  the 4.7 Poison and brought my old F2 AXXIS 262 for a run. Curtis 26.5 B&J fin then 25cm Finz weedy.

I haven't had such a fun sail like that in a long time. A few nice ramps had as well. That Axxis is great fun in those conditions. Glad I took it!

Good to be back up the coast for my sailing hols. Great to see the local crew again, feels like home. Bit of an epic fail sailing day. Smashed on my 6.3 so rigged down to the 5.4 and still the same result. Had a chat then and watched the action.
