Great day to knock off early. Started on the 115 Rocket and 7.8H2 then changed down to the 100l JP freestyle and 6.2 Atlas.

Really fun day on the water, hope to get the same again tomorrow. Pleased with the PB but I had 25.5 on the GPS so thought I'd finally cracked it.

Exocet 67 Gaastra GTR 7.0

Nice after work sail. Bit over powered at times but still couldnt get a decent speed. Technique practice I guess.

They promised 4 days of NE, not doing so well so far, maybe Saturday will deliver.

Peel St, a bit NNE & ver strong enough.  Ancient Seatrend, 6.6, MUF 24

Budgewoi Lake, NSW, AU 6.6m Maui TR9 with Exocet RS2 home made 18cm weedy. 15 to 18 knots. riged the 7.6m TR9

was a great number of friendly sailers out, flat water and sun shine but just not enough wind under done all day.

great to sail with every one this place has so much potential but has to be a 30 knot NE to get 25 there.

Smokin'

Easily the strongest NE of the season. Fanatic XXX and 6.0m. Would have been 25-30kts at Coal Point with huge swell.

Later in the day I battled over to the sand islands on the Naish slalom board but there was no wind, the trip back was somewhat wild.

Nice work Adam. Great PBs. It was fairly windy at times at Marmong this afternoon, With luck 25 is not far off.

Well done Adam! I was watching you from marmong and you were getting along very nicely indeed. My guess at the time was that you were doing about 26 or 27 knots. Would it be possible to have a look at a picture of your tracks mate? From what I've seen when I've sailed with you it seems like you need to pull away more in the gusts.

Thanks guys, pretty happy with myself.

Cheers Cluffy, I thought I was bearing away a fair bit but obviously need to do it more. I can see where I got my 2 sec I was bearing away a lot more than other runs.

Here's the tracks from today: http://www.ka72.com/viewge.aspx?fid=55624&tid=0

Those angles look pretty good Adam.

I forgot to put the flash card back in so no data today but I had a great sail from the slips at belmont. I walked out to the end of the rocks and took a wind reading and it was a solidly over 25 knots with one gust of 29.  I had a bit of a run on the 81 litre JP slalom with the 6 metre savage but it was a bit mental so switched to the crossover gear and it was utterly perfect. There's nothing like sailing in 25+ knots in total comfort. After yesterdays disaster it was really nice to get a good one in.

Congrats Adam! Pb's in chop are much harder to come by. Glad you had a good sail Cluffy. It would be lovely to sail 25kts+ in total comfort! Andrew I thought Coal would be wild!

My mum took a fall and Im the night 'nurse' at the moment so no sailing for a little while. She's ok but very wobbly so could easily have another worse one. Hopefully she'll get ok in the next day or so.
