Long day out on the shortest day of the year super sunrise at the start and a new 2nd hand board for me yee haa my first board that floats me pure luxuery for me boombas was at the optimum tide so it made for some great conditions happy with how the board went a bit strange first up riding a door but it seems to have a bit of get up and go.

Super to sail with Rod and Shane and Mitch was there for moral support and weather updates. Then we later went to coodanup into Fangy land to get the wind change and do a few more kms caught up with the m/mob and a sick Fangy the water was nice here aswell but the wind was up and down the whole time. Super company all day and great to achieve our goal of getting good distance well done fellars looks like more fun tomoz super duperSmile

I just thought I would post a few pics of the Coastal Nanna's having a natter. The cold was playing havoc with the arthritis and so they had all put down their crochet for a bit.
A shot of Nanna Rod and Elmo, discussing whether Nanna Stroppo with his wearing his wetsuit and then wet gear hiding under the trailer lid out of the breeze and rain really needs to have his 'faded red' umbrella as well. ( I have photoshopped the colours a bit so as not to cause him too much embarrassment.)
Grand Nanna Stroppo is getting a touch sensitive about his specially modified Nanna chair and has taken to keeping it hidden from the paparrazzi. But I got a shot of Grand Nanna Stroppo, surveying the the rigging area for dampness. Apparently he only cracks out his Nanna chair when the ground is sodden and cold which of course causes all sorts of mischief with his piles. Here he is holding hands( they call it 'team bonding time') with Nanna Shanno, telling him that the ground is completely dry and he does not need to get it his Nanna chair out of hiding. Not that he is hiding his chair in fear that I might get a photo of it ...
.so I have to thank the Muppet Man for this shot of grand Nanna Stroppo on his chair rigging his 'faded red' bit of kit. Those with sharp eyes will spot his new quick release 'special' seat attachment that has temporarily fallen out of the seat of the chair. That's probably why he is not smiling..
