Sandy Bay, TAS

Great sail from the Sandy Bay Sailing Club with the Charles, Russ and little brother. Started off in a light north westerly on the Isonic 117 and the NP RSX 8.5. Managed to get 27 knots in about 10 knots, pretty happy with that.

Then the Seabreeze came in so I rigged the R3 7.8 and cruised about. Love this set up with a 42, loved it!

overdrive r5 8.6/7.0     some formula fin/ drake dw 36        starboard 167 wide/isonic 107

Light northerly winds gave me a chance to test the new formula board, it is mint. The southerly/sw change proved to be great, gave me a good go on the 107. Did eat some mast though.... didn't land any jibes on the 107 either.. Next time will be the 27 however. Good sail with the boys, bring on perth.. wait mum won't let me go, aha..

Sandy Bay, TAS, AU. Isonic 2015 120, Volt 43cm and OD R5 8.6.

Fantastic sail at Sandy Bay with Russ, Jock, Angus and Fergus. Went out in a very light NW on the formula board and 8.6. Was hoping for a seabreeze or a freshning northerly. Looked down the river and saw a wind line coming in which was the seabreeze. Came in pretty windy and changed to the 120. Nicely powered up with the 8.6, the new board and fin combo felt greatLaughing

Half-hearted seabreeze, never really got going, but I'll take what I can get.

Nice blasting at rosevears, hideously choppy to start with but got smoother as the tide dropped thankfully
