Wello high tide washing machine so very happy with my speeds its either new gear or just it feels trust worthy and I'm confident too pust it in the chop. Good sailing with Dave I thought no speedies were going to show. Mainly just B&J ers out today

Checked out Cox Bank... lots of potential, but wind just kept gettign stronger!! Was overpowered pretty well from the start but a good mission to make it there and check it out :)

Will be back again... for a SE it's a great spot, I suspect would work better at a lower tide... bank doesn't drop off steep enough, but  there is a 2nd drop off that could be better...

Booties are a needed heading out... just tuck them into lifejacket pocket when your ready to go, then pop them back on when you get in again.

A quick sail on the way home from Hervey Bay, underdone on the 7.5 when I started, then way too much as the afternoon progressed. Didn,t have any thing smaller

Sailed IS87, Avanti 6.1 StII32.

Have not been so overpowered for a long time and the very choppy conditions didn't help much.

Great to be on the water again..

Went in at the Grand but a lot of boat traffic so decided to take to long, long walk up to the train. Very hard work dragging the gear up there after a long morning on the mountain bike! Water was a lot smoother and wind was inconsistant. Eventually came back to the grand for sone nicely powered up runs. Great to finally get the 6.3 out. Smile

Manly, QLD, AU

Mistral 112, KAR 7.1, BP 37.5 for the slalom races (20 to 25 kts) and Kode 103, Gator 6.0, Drake 30 freeride for bump and jump (25 to 30 kts)

Bayside Slalom Races. Wind came in after 1.00pm and built from 20 to 30 kts. Not fit enough or skilled enough to control the slalom board and cammed sail in those conditions. Finished the first 2 races. The bay was a complete washing machine and the slalom board and camber sails uncontrollable in the 20 to 25 kt wind. The 2 second peak is a PB for Manly. The wind kicked in further after the break (25 to 30 kts) so I de rigged my race gear and rigged my FSW and wave sail for some bump and jump. Lots of fun, got some air and even managed a few gybes. Hats of to the slalom racers who finished 5 races. Impressive effort!

Impressive sailing in difficult conditions. You are really dialing the new gear in Glynn. Good alphas Shannon and PHIL. Looks like we got our trip to the Gold Coast out by a week. Nice speed Chris. I look forward to sailing Cox Bank in good conditions one day.

HaHa guys dont worry I'm alive and well only just.... after being lead astray by Hanu and Brad after sailing (pissup at the Grand). Anyway staggered home and for some reason couldnt log on to KA72 (email sent). May have been too pissed though. Dont think my numbers were any good for team points anyways. Didnt want to kill myself to early on in the season in that crazy chop. We save myself for a better dayCool

Tony was active on Facebook 8 hours ago so unless he had his mobile with him he is probably not on the island!
