Quick go on the race gear, but conditions more suitable for wave gear which I didn't bring!

Manly, QLD, AU

First Bayside slalom races of the season. I bumped and jumped, while the lunatics raced their slalom boards throught the metre high moguls. A really good effort from the racers.

I'm back - great breeeze - great morning session - plenty of jellies out past the markers was the only downer.

Wello Point. 144L Starb Carve, 43cm fanatic, 6.7m NP zen. Could only get out late, on high tide. Expected chop; and given board not suitable for those conditions, it was VERY bouncy. Need to replace sail - holes appearing in monofilm all over the panels. Three others out. Still had fun. Water very warm.
