Lake Illawarra today, with the Fox and Nudie. A good steady breeze was blowing when I got there, so rigged the 6.2 and headed out with Nudie in our high viz yellow New Cal Crazy Frogs rash tops for a few long fanging runs across to the other side and back. First time on the UFO fin, felt really secure and a good balanced riding position.

Nice bash after work. Some big gusts coming through but I couldn't seem to time them up in the speed strip. Loved the PD 87 today. Super nice to gybe and really forgiving in the chop.

3011 days ago 2 categories   Sanctuary Point, NSW, AU wind looked a bit light so rigged the evov 6.4 and ca55 , today was a day for the speed strip as the wind was much stronger there than past the shallow water line , a few hairy moments when getting lifted but most of the time the rig was spot on, good to see troll turn up as i was wondering how he was going, looks like a southerly on its way but no sail for me tomorrow but hopefully saturday if it's going to happen

Nice solid breeze is the way to go.
BTW those bad boy Black Hawks have been flying low overhead all arvo and now into the evening.
