Marmong Point, NSW, AU

Exocet RS6, TR8 7.6, Vmax 43 - Wind SSW 12-18 knots

Nice sunny southerly at Marmong.   Just Gert and I out initially but by the time i was derigging the shoreline was packed.  Tried the RS4 initially but wind was a bit patchy so switched to the RS6 and much better with the extra float to push through the lulls.    Was trying hard on my gybes and got a couple of good ones where i planed out - happy with the 20 alpha.  Great day.

Rathmines, NSW, AU. 110 Naish Hybrid, 6.6 Hucker. No idea what the wind was doing. Seemed very up and down and directional variations. Still had lots of fun, absolutely knackered now after doing Spark Helmore triathlon this morning.

Falcon 113 KAR 7.1 Venom 38

Nice sail initially by myself then joined by Mick later. Much more consistant than yesterday but still a bit on-off. Breeze built nicely and was probably close to 20kt near the end. Probably should have been on the 7.9 for most of the day but was too rooted from yesterday. Was reaching for the 92L near the end but Mick spotted two sharks that had decided to join us. We thought it best that we finish up at that point.....Just as it got really good.

HSM 7,3 isonic 122 45 select

fun little sail at good old valintine with jeff.

wind slowly picked up as the day went the 122 got too big n scary so went to the 101

way more in control and the new fins made a massive difference

the watch sais 29.6 guess thats the difference between the cammore and the gw62.

all ended far to quickly when the sharks made any apperance

i was so close to open water 30kts but still my prevous open water pb was 22.8kts  sweeet

Unreal sail drag racing Walshy we were pushing each other for multiple  couple of KM long ong runs.

so much fun mate you are so quick it was just what tunning and training I need.

Havnt sail here in years but it was unreal more wind than any where else in that direction with that bit of east in it. Even though it was open water you could put the foot down with 2 foot chop.

SE 18-20 knts. Mistake not taking slalom gear so formula had to do. Baz ,Ian and I were on formula gear. The other sailors had a ball.

It was a good reminder to me regards fitness.

Thats a great alpha in those lumpy conditions, James. Good to hear you got a decent sail today and had a nice warm down from the Tri, Tony. Mick, you was robbed! Those sharks and I know how fast you were.Laughing

Wangi sounded good Byron. Anyone sailing tomorrow morning? Thinking of Carey Bay nth end of Laycock st ( sail valentine area but from other side) or Marmong.
