Hit the water at Lota at about 2.15 with Tristan, Chris and Mikey. We all, except Chris, dredged for the first 30 minutes. Chris was on his monster 9.5 and Iso 127 and was planning almost all the time. The wind slowly built and we were consistently planing from about 3.00pm. No great speed but cruisey sailing in flat water. The tide turned and the wind kick in for some good runs for the last 40 minutes. Lota is a great place to sail in these conditions. Even better when sharing it with good company

Started off ok but soon died an turned into a dredgefest which lasted for a hour then the wind slowly filled in.
Out first with Mr Keen, Dess and Kiwi Pete then later Vando.
Made two trips to Lota but wind was better at Wello so mostly sailed across the midle of the bay.

ONly just figured out you can add these comments.
Arrived late, sailed till no more light left. Would have gone further but had two frustrating pit stops -- forgot to reset the height on mast base for different sail, not enough DH, cams popped off, half an hour grovelling around in the mud half way up the bank sorting all that out, bakc out for 30 minutes, front footstrap unscrews itself, wade bakc to car park...screw driver...
