sboardcrazy (26796km): ![]() 5-20kts + NW Teralba, NSW, AU 5.7m OD - RS4 - 32cm pointer 6.6m KA Koncept - RS4 - 43cm makani weedy 1st sail at Teralba for over a year. When I arrived it was a pretty consistent 20kts + which was more than I wanted..Usually in that sort of wind I'd be on a 6.2m and 80ltre board but it's so patchy there I use the big board . I didn't know how it would go in the stronger stuff ( +50 of my weight). I tried some weird combos today. I've never used a 5.7m on the RS4 before and borrowed the 32cm..Underpowered and only got going once then the fin was too small..Good for confidence buidling though.. Decided to risk a bigger sail and went the 6.6m..Went the 43cm makani which is gigantic! I wasn't sure what would happen if the board got well powered but was relieved to find it was well behaved..Tennis elbow started to play up so came in. I want to be healthy in case it blows Friday.. 20 degrees so nice and warm out of the water.. Lyd's , Jeff then later John on his foil and Gert on my old 95 rocket.. Nice to see it still providing fun.. The wind died right off for a while so more talking than sailing today ..
