2S PB at the local. Doesn't get any better. Still can't crack the elusive 40 but a peak of 40.4 feeds the hunger for now. Good to share the stoke with Boz, Woody, Ken, Dan and Slowie all sending it in probably as good as it gets conditions at Melville.

SB i87, E4 5.8m, Tribal wsp27, 8.5kg of PB sprinkeld with Bozium.

Frontal winds westerly with minimal storm surge made for great conditions at melville. Quite a few big smiles as PBs were getting smashed. The Bozium was in abundance today. Stoked to get a few PBs at the local and not need to go on a road trip.

Congrats Tim on getting the best speed out of the Pinnas. This time you are the King! However Slowy got 40 knots on a 5.5 and 137 board.

I arrived to see Tim, Boz, Kenny, and Slowie out on 5.5ms on a lowish tide which was an indication that things were on. The wind and tide was ideal earliest when I went out at about 11.15 before chopping up after 12.30. Tried the new Vapor 5.6 on the Manta 59 and wp25 and saw a 37 on the first run which was slower than the standard Boz and Tim had already set. Saw Daniel flying on a new windtech dialing in for some speed too. A few runs later things aligned as got saw a top of 39.69 and 2sec of 39.12. Tried for more after putting more downhaul on but the lower wind and incoming tide prevented any improvement. Hats off to King Tim today . A top Melville day with great company enjoying the best Melville can offer.  It these days that create the highlights in ilfe. Vapor 5.6 on the Manta 59 and wp25

Great to share a fantastic session at Mellville with, Tim who is the King of the Pinnas today with a PB Kenny super stoked for you and the PB's well deserved, Mark I'm sure a PB as well when he posts, Dan who thought his GPS was reading wrong as he was only getting 28's , we did explain to him that he was on a windtec boardLaughing and slowie who was on the same size sail as me a 5.5KAR but on a 137 board and no it's not a typo. Peak at 39.3 but no matter what I did today even borrowed the 8kg weight jacket from Tim couldn't line it up correctly today but really doesn't matter was such a good day. And as you can see Bozium does not affect sailors in close proximity if anything it promotes PB's

Manta 59 KAR 6.3 8kg weights

It was brutal mid-river, got hit by a 30 knot gust and launched by big chop off Majestics 2/3 into the NM, came close to a major stack.

The board recovered amazingly but I couldn't get traction back on the fin so the last 1/3 was slow.

That was enough for me - I'm a foiling softy now EmbarassedLaughing

Woohoo the Windtech went like a bullet!

She handles it well with no flightyness and not intimidating at speed in the slight

chop.

Headed in as Hards headed out and i think that was the better time of the day.

Loads out for a weekday with a few big guns there, a few smiles for sure

Quick fang around at Melville after work.

Some solid gusts coming through, but pretty choppy which limited the top speed. Still a fun little sesh Cool

I arrived for the workers shift and was really confused as to why the car park was empty, but after seeing the results from the early shift it was no wonder that all had gone home to celebrate.

Ok...so I'm sure there were some amazing 2 secs today. JJ and I passed on the flat water and went for the bubbly stuff to do a couple of bumpy Nauti miles. NOTE 1: All speeds were done in the choppy stuff not the corner at Speedville.

Note 2: I could have gone faster if ; I was heavier , had weight, was a better sailor, had a faster sail , was on the right tack, and a whole bunch of other stuff that I'll save for next time.

JJ ...eat my shorts dude... I got the 33 in the MIDDLE...of the river.

Thanks for the coffee Dan

JJ I take heart in the fact that my best speeds where done on Port tack going into the messy chop all be it there was some flat to get the acceleration but jeeze it was a handfull going through the chop nearly lost it a couple of times, can't get a handle on the starboard tacks yet even though this was were the flat water was, don't feel comfortable bearing away, seems strange as I have no trouble no matter how choppy it is on Port (Any suggestionsLaughing). Bloody awesome speeds for Melville by the guys but they chickened out in gybing in the open water, I thought Anita gave us explicit instruction that you must gybe in the roughLaughing any brownie points for not dropping a gybe in the roughLaughing

Fantastic set of PB's there Tim, Mark and Kenny. Well done fellas - top shelf stuff!Laughing

I couldn't get out for a sail myself today but I found this website that is even better! It seems you can buy Bozium online easy peasy. Here is a section of the website I cut and pasted;

"Dr Boz’s Amazing Online ApothecaryDr Boz’s Ballistic Bozium Power Blend now with added chromosomes. This awesome formula not only delivers over 1000% RDI of Bozium, but also, up to 4 million extra pro-biotic chromosomes, all wrapped in up a delicious thick shake oozing with flavour.

This is the real deal imported directly from Chernobyl. Guaranteed to not contain any bits of recycled melamine furniture like those cheap Chinese imports. Buy with confidence from the real deal, Dr Boz’s Amazing Online Apothecary."

Huge congratulations to all the 2 sec and 5X PBers, but Kenny, your alpha is amazing! You had better check that it wasn't a roundabout on the way home... Wink

Cheers all. Very satifying to get a 2 sec and alpha PBs after about a year.

Congrats to Tim, Mark and Dan on the top speeds. Tim and Mark I think 40 is very doable for you guys. Some ways to go for me.

Lunny looks like you got the board dialed in. impressive 2sec and 5x10! JJ and Windtech nice NMs. I went for a couple from majestic point but too chicken to clench in the rolling chop.

Anita, must have been the bog lap in northbridge in my VN.Laughing

all pbs have been checked on GPSresults and I can say there have been no PBs on the freeway or maccas.

a 38 average 5X is awesome! That's a lot of fast runs Lunny and Tim!

Neil, a 30 nm in the middle of the river today is quite something, and you pipped the nm king. All that foiling must have made him soft. At least he remembered to use the correct GPS today.

Look at all those huge 2 sec and 5X PBs - you must all be so stoked! Big effort everybody!

that was fun wasn't it? Been in bed for past 2 days. Pretty nice conditions for melville. Not too windy (was a good 5kts stronger out the back) so not much over 25 in the gusts,

Tim, Mark, Kenny, Boz the machine(#2)- awesome stuff. A bit more wind and all of your numbers would have been higher! but we had enough wind to get good speeds. Well done fellas!

Was pretty hectic out the back. there was more wind and reasonably smooth (rolling chop- kind of) was able to get 37.5kts over near majestic pt on one of my first runs. Most of the guys were venturing out into the middle of the river, but why would you when theres epic speed conditions in cloise.

Craig- glad you got some squirts down on Fangy's grass. would have joined you guys but prob would have fallen asleep on the way down.
