Lake George, SA, AU - Live Slow Sail Fast Tongue out Day 4

We had a lazy session today and decided to drive there insteed sailing there like others days.

Had a ball with Jamie on the slalom, had few nibbles first on the run, got bored and went for some burns out above the spit on some flattish stuff. Wind picked up later, so was time to get the speed board out.

Good fun with the crew, the usual suspect Hamma blasting on the small combo, Giorgo, Artur, Daffy, and Hardie came on time for it too Tongue out. Hardone was sooo happy that you could hear him screaming like.... every runs ah ah ah Laughing

Solid session which took me ages to get my bearings back on the SP board, 1st today since last year.. every lap I was slowly going faster..

Very happy that I still had some juice left in me to hit the speed on day 4 Tongue out

Happy Days Cool

Lake George, The Spit one of the most exhilirating sails of my life, not refelected in my speeds, but felt the fastest I've ever sailed, a magic place the Golden LakeCool, Fabulous catching up with so many sailors from the GPSTC Gergio (Powersloshin) Daffy, Dr Cam, Hamma, Jamie, Sammy, Artur, two Southerly buster sailors, Gear = Started off with TR-XI 5.9m, got overpowered, changed down to 5.5m (fastest runs), which still felt overpowered (need to get  10kg fatter againEmbarassed) Started with Pepefoil 21/48, and changed doen to pepeweed 19/48 (fastest runs), Mistral Speed 55/95.  Probably need to swap this board which has been my fave for years, but just feels too big now that I'm 82kg, and not 92 kg  any heavy-weights out there that have a smaller speedboard that feels too small and wanna do a swap?

Lilacs, Albany, WA, AU

6.2 Koncept, Sonic 85L + FF20, Manta 74L + Tribal S'weed 21

Fun afternoon sail with Mike, Nina, Peter, Mark, Cliff & Shane heading out for a quick spin when I was packing. Not quite enough water for NM & Hour but it was geat to be on the water.

Used the Sonic mostly & had a quick run on the Mante late but the tide had dropped a bit more & it was a bit grabby. Think I'm going to be joining the queue for a Tribal Delta.

Fun day at Lilacs, Peter, Nina, Morts and Woody for company.

Too shallow for the NM so mine has a gybe in it. Good condition for the hr and alphas, so gave them a tickle, then had fun running down the last half of the weed bank. Best speed was the last run home with Nina chasing me.

New 48cm board, koncept 5.8 and 19cm@55d weedy.

Off to Esperance tomorrow, may get a sail in the harbour, or we may just go sight seeing.

Dot had fun taking loads of pics, Peter is in charge of his and Nina's. But I'll try and process one of Woody and post on his Pinnas session.
