Tried the new 5.5 today and glad I did being fully lit up out the middle.

Went down to the spit end of the lake with two victorian's but got bogged down in weed a delta fin would have been good.

Second session was up five mile and had a ball but very scary in the chop with a bit of flat then into the lagoon into heavy chop.

Love the new 5.5 so glad I had it today.

Tough day at the office wind 20 -30 knots getting the hang of this, still not bearing away as I am getting used to the BP Kestrels. Thanks to Glynn for all the local knowlwedge as well as the other sailors helping my learning curve along. Great fun so far.
