FMX 138 - Loftsails 9.1 - 44 fin

Light but good fun. Quite punchy at runway when on and messy in the middle.

Kyeemagh, gusty E/NE, 14-20kn. JP Hydrofoil 135, Loft Racing blade 7.8m, SB GTR 800/255-2. Very gusty early on with some real bullets coming through, swinging from 14 to well over 20 knots in the space of a few meters. Made controlling the foil very interesting at times. Strange wind direction with the extra East, resulting in an almost 90 degree shift as you approached the runway. But it made for an easy tack back up, almost parallel to the runway if you stayed close.

Playing 'Dodge the jellyfish' was intersting at times, especially when you clip them doing over 20 knots. Adds yet more adrelain to high speed foiling.

Good to see Fez, Dieter and Walt down there. Dieter didn't miss a beat getting back on the windfoil, gybing better than me right from the offset! Unfortunately Walt discovered his prescription sunnies don't float.
