799 days ago Lake Cootharaba, QLD, AU If I knew it was going to be this windy would have gone to Weyba. Survival mode with Magnus  Gusts hitting 30kts and 3ft ramps wave gear would have been good. Futura behaved way beyond expectation.

Champagne sailing. Strong SE and low outgoing tide. Sunny and warm. Got to the beach just after 12 and the gear felt perfect right from the start. The wind increased about half way though and, after some internal debate, I decided to change down board rather than sail as the 5.5 was feeling beutiful. Got onto the Starboard acid and had a great final session. Great day alround - fast, running down and upwind at will. SO9 fin felt superb underfoot - no fins feel as nice as Selects. Great gybing conditions in close and big swells out the back to gybe in the bowl. Best day in a long, long time. Five stars!
