Rathies, NSW, AU 5.5 Hydra 1500 flow. Great session despite what sems to be a normaility these days. Variable wind, strength and direction.I felt like I was in a California cannabis dispensary - every type of weed imaginable. Enough jellies to keep me on my toes. Got hooked up on a submerged crab pot towards the end and so decided I'd had enough.Good fun when it was clear and consistent.

Belmont Bay. 5-8 knots at first so went out with 8m Ezzy Cheetah and 1110 sabfoil wing then it got real windy, which for me on a foil, real windy is 12 knots so I had to come in and downsize to 5.5 Ezzy Cheetah and 800 sabfoil wing. It was quite a while before the 800 went faster than the big boppa. Beautiful being able to sail jelly blubber free. They are all up the Northern end of the lake. Hopefully those powerboats splattered them all at the weekend.

Mungo Brush, NSW, AU - JP SLW 165, 8.5m Ezzy Cheetah, 28fangy
Still a bit ugly i missed weekend sailing, so i pushed myself to sail something different to Jimmies. South / SE are pretty nice from White Tree bay.
Shin deep getting out. It didnt look too deep a few places in the middle but it is very clear water, they were probably waist deep.

The first run to Stony Point is about 5.5k. That would be the longest run i've ever done. It took me about 45mins as there was no wind then (1100).
The one thing the SLW does not do is slog. Going slow is a pleasure.
Coming back it was looking like i was not going to get the board planing and i'd missed white tree and drifted downwind a bit. Magically then a gust hit and sent me flying into beach.
Lunch, wind came up, had some good runs.
After yet another 'unhooked off the back splat' thing, alone and getting weirded out planing downwind over chop (not used to that) thought i'd call it quites.
I seem to go really upwind in those conditions going out, same as yesterday, and coming back it feels like i'm going heaps downwind.
It was different. Good.
