Motukarara, Canterbury, Good day on the water. More downhaul and added weight next time in these conditions.  Aaron was on fire. Well done smashing some record speeds. We have a new windsurfing speed record for NZ for the 500 metre run.
Yesterday (26/10/23) Aaron White went 43.19kts for 500m average.
Aaron's peak speed for the day was 47.6kts.
Sailing at GreenPark Sand Bar, Lake Ellesmere, Canterbury in NW 25-35kts.
The existing record was Chris Torckler's 42.49kts set at the Linfield Run in Auckland.
Gearwas Mykz KQ45 board, 5,0 Duotone Warp sail, Z Fins port Assy 21 fin.
Aaron wearing 12 kg lead weight jacket.
Data recorded on 10Hz 'Motion' doppler GPS recorder with 'verifiable data error' function.
Backed up by Locosys GT31 1 Hz doppler recorder.
