Albany, WA, AU.  Woke up early with sore throat and felt shit so went back to bed, woke up 3 hrs later, didn't feel much better but figured I was stuffed from finishing off big project for the last few weeks before so headed down.  Was in the EV so quick charge at Williams and the plan was another quick charge at Kojonup.  All going well until arrived at Kojo and the fast charger was down.  Checked the reports and charger had been down for weeks.   Then looked around and the western power power pole had snapped in half just about to fall on the road and a bunch of workers were working on it. So no electrons, luckily upstream was still live and there was a slow charger so sat there for an hr.  Whilst waiting the old man (who had just been staying with us) called to say he had covid.  Almost gave up at this point as symptoms were probably covid but decided to carry on.

Arrived to little wind and those out chugging about so rigged the biggest sail I bought. Good turn out with plenty out.   Went out and was ok for the first 1/2 hr or so but then wind seemed to increase. Did an hr then tried for Alphas, had great speed on entry but kept dropping gybes so took a rest and bombed everyone with the drone.  Went out again and just couldn't get rythymm with the gybes and crashing a lot.  Finally realised I was too over powered (slow learner) but by this time I was knackered so went flying the drone again instead.
