Lake George, SA, AU

First time to the lake. Arrived about 1.30 - checked in - straight out to 5 mile - rigged - Patrik 95, 7m M4, MUF delta 19.

Struggled to get up wind spinning out then every time I was getting speed on my bear aways I was spinning out. Rather than go in and change fins like a smarter man would - I battled away.

When I called it a day I then decided to change the fin to Techtonic delta 21 and give that a crack just for one run across the lake and back. Pointed much better and no spin out so the MUF 19 might be the 6.2 fin!

Made a rookie error - didn't organise groceries before going sailing and only just made it to the pub for a feed before it closed!

I think the MUF Delta fins are hopeless - I had one a few years ago and it did just what yours is doing. Honestly, do yourself a favour and get hold of a Tribal Delta and be amazed. I use my Tribal D18 with a 7.0 M5 on both a 100 Patrik F-Race and a 110 Tribal Radix. Solid as a rock on both.

Thanks Nauli. The fin worked much better today with the 6.2.

Looking at all the other sailers it certainly seems tribals are the go.
