Much better sailing day today, was great fun on the flat with the stronger wind. Tricky has the 5.8dialled in and is unbeatable, great sailing buddy. Jay was sailing again and plenty of room for 3 sailors. Lots of fun. I did sail a lot more than the results as my gt31 went blank and is stuffed. Tricky lent me his mini-motion for the last 9kms so i could post. Thanks mate . Drama on the high seas later as reported in Trickies post, well done!
Cheers

32 days ago Bunta Bogan Blast today, RIgged Loft RB5.8 Isonic 87 21Fangy, Sailed wih Hoppy & J we all shudda rigged bigger for speed but we had a absulte blast just enjoyed the TOW
Finnished with a Coldie, then missing sailor Max turned uplate & sailed off never to be seen again so I plugged the Loft 5.8 in to the CA SL101 & 32 weedie & when looking for him, found him north of the oyster lease paddling so I towed him 2km home, broken fin mast & sail to the sea gods Board Boom & Sailor safe

32 days ago Stansbury, SA, AU. Day #2. Last night at the Stansbury motel, the wind sounded like it was going to rip the roof off. I was wondering if it was going to be sailable the next day. Me, Trick and Hop stood on the Goyne @ 11am and measured about 20-25k, expecting it to increase (forecast suggested it would). Goodo, so I rig same gear as yesterday. Big mistake. Stansbury is a tough one to get right with gear. The geography seems to make the wind do strange things. Always pack big gear, no matter how much yellow is predicted for the gulf. Regarding the 5.2 Racingblade, I'm still trying to work out if it's a tuning issue or underpowered issue. I think it might be both. 3rd time I have used it in 2 years since buying it.
Tricky: Well done for rescuing Max. Slamming into an oyster lease crosses my mind from time to time. It's something I never want to think about. It could have been far worse than a busted knee. Regarding Hoppy's GPS issues, Tricky has a cunning plan

Got to use my new Patrick 90lt and holy f#$k, it's so damn fast, i wasn't used to it, so to be honest i held back a bit as the chop today was absolutely horrendous, like scary small and confusing lines, but to get over 31 knots on my first on the board being a pussy is pretty crazy, I've definitely never used a board of this calibre ,only problem was trying to find the back footstrap and I was using a 7m with it and I'm a a very good gyber but today not one good gybe 🤔
It also goes upwind like a dream, never once got close to nose diving in nasty chop, only me holding the board back
Such a great experience of a day, also I bought a select carbon fin and it was amazing also
Patrik 90litre slalom, 34 select( can't remember the name) loft racing blade 7.0

Goood session today on 7.8 and 115. Mostly consistent wind.
Great to sail with a few people. Kym, nice board!
