7 days ago Wobbly Westerly on the bottom of the tide. When Mikey came in from Winging, wind was blowing 18 - 25kts so rigged for that, a small 4.5m2 sail. Joined by a few Kiters, and another Winger around 2:30pm, and Mark A, as a late comer on his 7.5m2. By the time I trudged out through the Wello mud, the wind had eased a tad. Bit hard to decent runs. On my naughty run, got flipped into the water with a rouge gust - spoiled that attempt. Difficult too to gybe as the sandbank kept grinding away a bit of my fin each time. Blasted low tide Westerly.
An average day considering it was a Westerly. Kiters had more fun. Compensated by getting to try out the new secondhand Isonic 90L wood construction board recently acquired. A cracker!
