sboardcrazy (26433km):  10-18kts few puffs 20/25 kts plus level 0.25 Budgewoi Lake, NSW, AU 5m Mach2- RS2 ( 90ltres) - 22cm atomic Missed the best as I couldn't get there till after lunch. Mike came in and said it was great on his 5m - 75ltre so I rigged the 5m - 70ltre - 16 pepe.. By the time I was ready it had died to about 12kts so I put the big board on. I had trouble starting due to lack of wind and the fin being too big I eventually floated down to the flats . I got one decent gust and went for a scary bearaway through them for the 2 sec. I knew I should be ok blasting but not sure if I'd hit if I got a lull.. I was thinking of going in for a bigger sail and smaller fin but a few good gusts started to come through. I got sucked into doing a few blats through the flats but had a lot of walking to get deep enough to beachstart in 10kts of wind.. Pity I missed the good stuff. Still it wasn't that cold, and the gusts were fun.. it was exhausting trying to get going. I haven't speedsailed in really strong wind since I broke my wrist 3 years ago.. I think I'm ready to try it again now.. The zigzag tracks are where I'm unsuccessfully trying to beachstart and I'm on the bottom..grr Just me and Dave out.
