 Well that was better than expected. Best I read on the shore before the rain was 14-18kts but it had dropped as we went out. I was surprised Mike was going so well.

A few little bearaways and gybes. So long as I had a bit of wind I could sail in the shallows. I was bouncing along the bottom trying to start.

 Too hot to start with but glad of the layers when the rain came in.

Initially the wind improved with the rain but then it came in and killed the wind and we limped back in.

 I'm not as fit as I thought I was.. Hardwork..

 Mike marked the steel hazard S of Brandon but it he said it needs a better marker. and he'll see to it..Thanks.
