Desperation sail at Glory Holes..

Forecast was for very high water, with thunderstorms.

So the beauty of very low expectations, is you don't get diaappointed.

Arrived to find 10kts and lots of chop, fortunately by design, it was lunch time..

Gloria and I started lunch, Waricle arrived with a couple of coffees, as we finished lunch Rob and the Shroom arrived.

Rob rigged even though it was almost a glass off by that stage. He wanted to try his 7.8 out.

Waricle also rigged he had a mended 6.8 to experiment with.

I stuck a fin in the 60cm board and waited.

Wind came up to 13-15kts, so Rob went out, then wind died for a while, but I took that as a sign something might happen so rigged the 6.2.

Somethind did happen, and I gave it a go, but wind was too upand down and water was much too choppy for me to enjoy my self. So next time the wind dropped, and a big black cloud approaching I called it quits.

The Shroom and Gloria were smart and didn't bother rigging.

However it was time on the water, good company, and better than finishing off the jisaw I'm in the middle of.
