I was worried how my leg would go. It was 8/10 pain driving down but survived sailing ok. I went for the 90 for the lulls and I wanted to make it easier to start because of my leg. Very strong down the bottom . I would have enjoyed the 5m - 80 better. The big board was scary in the gusts and I was very overpowered. Did one bearaway and intended to turn up into the point to stop but I was too close so I ejected off the back and had to chase the board. No worries, but it must have looked spectacular as Mitch came up to check on me ( thanks) and later Greg said he was worried I'd hit bottom. 22cm was ok although it collected bucketloads of weed slogging back when it died to 5-8kts.
