Point Grey, WA, AU CA66 LRB 5.6 TD24 Started out sunny with a moderate to fresh NW on a nice tide and reasonably flat water. Rob was already there and had already sailed and was having a break.

Anita arrived followed by Boz and Richo and Anita and I launched.

The tide was about a foot higher than yesterday so it wasn't dead smooth.

I had a few runs and decided to have lunch and change the fin to the 19 Fangy.

I had just finished lunch when a 20 minute white squall hit and was followed by a long s/w two knot skunking.

Anita was on the other side of Robert's bay and the boys were in Austen Bay.

I sat in the back of my car eating a sandwich and sipping coffee watching and waiting for the sailors to walk/dredge their way back home.

Eventually everyone returned and I had packed up. The breeze started to come back and Boz and Rob were back out. Anita and Richo called it.

I'm very glad I came in when I did. Interesting day....

Point Grey, WA, AU a great day started of sunny and warm on the 7.8. Then changed down to the 7. Some nice long runs into Austin Bay but nearly got stuck when the wind swung to the west and dropped. Lucky the wind came back in and l could sail back to the car.

that's the problem with going into Austin Bay, you don't get enough warning of the drop of/swing!
