Amazing. I might not win the race, but my gear shouod be ready to get aroind the course this time so we'll see. Super nice of Hiuey to give 4 days good sailing here. Today joined by two kiters, one of whom named Rido has windsurf kit so he'll soon be coming to the light. Local Rocky came out of hiberantation and later mobdog.

I find the up coming race situation does bring up a bit of mind fluff, competiitive issues...
ie i'm kinda bummed that after practicing here for years and i know the big dogs (probably medium dogs too but any little dogs, no way) are going to school me this weekend again, so atleast i could fight for jelly beans. That was my goal, go hard as to get some numbers and try and atleast hold some locally obtained jely beans in the gpstc sheep station sweeptakes. 
But i doubt 55k is enough, average Joe will smash that on Sunday if wind is good. 
So anyway, i realized late last night it was a spot PB, happy with that!Laughing It was on the Carbon Art, but the Carbon Art was stuck in 2nd gear for some reason, not sailing up wind well, not sure why.. 
Speaking of upwind, i'd love an adjustable mast track on my Patrik 120. I decdided i'd had enough yesterday and at that moment realied the mast base had slide all the way forward - a dream coming back home like that.
