9 hours ago Jimmy’s beach, nsw. Dreamland. So stoked the club has an another one here and got a nor Easter. I don’t think I’ve got it in me for racing. Matteo says he is a wave sailor mostly, yeah right, couldn’t catch him. I managed to get around Nathan and was confident I had it in the bag but I slowed down for a crashed dude to check if he was alright and Nathan got me. Ah damn it he probs would have anyway on that stinky slalom kit.
My kit was lit. I’m surprised this much for is legal in 2025.
For whatever reasons I’m not sure but I ended up on the JP SLW for a magical stint in 20+ kts wind. I highly recommend that on flat water, mind blowing fun, 47cm carbon.
The Patrik F-Race 120ltr was struggling for the first heats but after racing it was magic, 41 carbon.
Ezzy Lion 6.5 the workhorse again.
Bring on 2026 - let’s get the big big dogs back down under. I want to see at least one PWA person come try again 😁

9 hours ago Rathies NSW, AU. Excellent session, only second session for the season. Would have stayed out longer but still recovering from a grade 2 hamstring tear 2 weks ago. Had the place to myself. Got hooked up on a crab pot line and abandoned anchor + rope coming in which wasn't fun but otherwise an excellent start top the season.

Spectating and assisting with the MPSC event weekend. No racing for me, but getting to experience Jimmys Beach for the first time was amazing.
I would've liked to stay longer, but had to get home after a fun weekend with a great bunch of people. Loved it.

5 hours ago Jimmy's Beach
NE 15 - 20knots
FFF200, RN Lift 5.4m, Axis 1099 & 799
Opposite to yesterday with strong steady breeze. Still gusty but no major issues.
Done the 10 races at Jimmy's which was a first for me.
First time use of the RN Lift which was probably why I could do the races.
Axis 1099 for the first 5 races and was getting a bit hairy with way too much lift.
After lunch the next 5 races were much more manageable on the 799.
Some fantastic racing as I got to see the finish most races as I was being lapped.
It was a bit rougher than expected and the swells near the point were a bit of fun to traverse.
Starting was interesting as had to round the sand bank on the way.
Enjoyable weekend in all and thanks to the organisers, Ian, Murray and Byron from the Marmong club and the boat crew Tom and Lindon.

4 hours ago Round 1 day 2 NSW GPS/Slalom series.At Jimmy's Beach.
N/10-18ish knots, sunny day in a beautiful location.
Decided to boost the fin numbers today. So out with the Isonic 117 , Switchblade 7m and 41 Hurricane.
Nice in the gusts but not enough for the lulls. Only did a few races today but excellent weekend away with everyone.
Big thanks to the organiser's, helpers and Tom and Lyndon in the boat.
