13 hours ago Melville Beach, WA, AU. Arrived with Boz fanging about nicely and green arrows. Almost rigged smaller but thankfully didn't as wind dropped off when went out. Was a nice cruise session in the sun with Nauli also out testing Al's new GPS shield units. A tribe of ducks decided to feast on something right in the smoothest patch of water...must have been good tucker as they were'n't fazed me sailing close to them. Came in as Jay and Slowy went out and of course back to green arrows. Near perfect bad timing on my part. iSonic97, 7mSvR8, FF22(18)

Powered up foil at Peli.
Went with the 7.0 again, but upsized the wing to the 560, as a bit of insurance against the fade.
I needn't have worried, cos the breeze was solid.
First 45 minutes the gusts were 22-23K, which was manageable on the set-up. The last half hour it booted to 20-25K, and I was pretty overdone going across the channel, which now resembled Kwinana freeway with an endless procession of wankers in big stink boats turning the water state into a washing machine.
So I reluctantly called it.
Great sesh. The 560 wing gives up some top end speed compared to the 460, but it was delightful flying through virtually all my gybes today on the bigger wing, and posting a decent hour.

Very noice sesh at Coods this arvo. Wind was reasonable and some flats made it a nice cruise in da sun. Great to be on da water with old mate Antman da Tassie boys, Dan ,Maree and quite a few others all enjoying the conditions. Really nice to see Scotty Still on da water fangin.
Last day for me on da water with da Tassie boys and gotta say it’s been an absolute pleasure being on da water with them. A couple of great blokes who share da same Passion.

wanted to try the 8.7m on the 63cm Rapid with 26 weedmax. Wasn't very windy so good excuse!
Unfortunately my GPS turned on by itself last night so the battery was drained... On my first run I saw it flash 36 and then suddenly turn off before I finished the run. Didn't save that data. Put it back in the car to charge for a while and went out for a bit.
Came back in and there was enough juice for some runs. Only found one gust with the GPS on that was powered up. Was down past the outer post in chop- thats where the wind was so I went. Fin held in great! Max 37.2 and 35kt 10s.
The tide was making the chop bigger but I was struggling to get back up the top with huge holes everywhere, and massive wind shifts- of course getting more knocks than lifts hahaha. Tracks are all over the place.
Stoked to have a lighter wind setup for shallow water. This combo is going to be dynamite in steadier wind.
