..can I ask was it all on flat water? ..and was it on your 54 or 47 wide board?

Women's scores always interest me because I'm only 65 kgs, and as I'm certain you will be aware lack of body weight is a serious detractor in this sport

..by contrast I just managed to scrape into 30 knots for 2 Seconds once yesterday on Christchurch Estuary

Thankyou.  Yes, flat water all the way. "Egg carton" chop. That is what is special about Albany, and why we drive for 5 hours to get here on the right forecast ( wind E tide 0.5 - 0.7) There is a Sandbar covered with weed that is a nautical mile long and on the right wind direction (east) it is close to the perfect angle for a downwind run for the full nm. The weed is a bit draggy though. I did 3 nm yesterday on the 47 but there was a relative lull in the middle and I think the 54 may have kept up the speed better. On the 30kn run mostly I was doing 31.5 but it dropped to 28.5 in the middle. I would have tried another on the 54 but the wind dropped and my last nm was only 28 kn so I decided not to bother with another. 

Yes low body  weight is a disadvantage. 

One of my team mates did an analysis of body weight vs speed a couple of years back and optimum weight was 90 to 100 kg as I recall.

Wow!  Slow to respond due to pesky xmas functions but awesome trucking with that huge PB load 'The Shroom' and not too shaby backup from the Wind Witch Windxtasy.   Gotta be happy days.
