Ben (8992km):
11 hours ago SE sail which is my favourite side with a good swell. Taped up my foot from yesterday stepping on something sharp that split my pinky toe. Thanks to Dave and another community member rushed in with medical kits. Wind came in pretty consistent which was nice. Fair bit of sand in the middle of the inside section which was cool to sail over. Joined Vando that got out earlier with Rob.Was out by myself for a fair while. Got a nice jump in landed a bit flat but board didn’t brake. Good carbon. Broke my harness line though. Wont buy anything Mystic again. Crap brand! Made to fall apart.good to see fellas out after I left. Saw black sail, Shane, as I drove over the bridge back home. Windsurfers look good from the bridge cruising down into the bowl.

This is a story about The Old Man and The Sea. Some days, the Sea “giveth” and on other days, the Sea “taketh away”. Today, the Sea and the Wind “gaveth”, which was great after waiting three days for it to fill in proper, but it was tsunami lumpy on the High Tide, with quite big swell out the back. Fortunately, I didn’t break another boom, but just in case of that possibility, I sailed closer in to shore today. Good to see the return of Dez and Rob N, and of course Ben, flexing his muscles on a 7.0m2 cambered sail, and of course: Vando in person, who was showing us all how it should be done as he usually does..! 🤣
I enjoyed that. More please!
