Rathies, NSW, AU 4.7 Taka 1250 Flow. Too gusty in Rathies Bay to stay out any longer. Big NEer. I'm surprised by the numbers

Marmong Point, NSW, AU ENE 12-20 knots a little gusty and great fun. A good turnout due to the breeze. Ss Levi G800 Maui 4.7

Warners Bay, NSW, AU

Good bit of harder sailing. Have had a good with my smallest front wing. No speed to speak of but enjoyed it!

No foil PB Sue...was using old school slapper technology again today.

Coal Point, NSW, AU

Stingray 115, Glide 905, Naish 5.4

NE 20-27 One of the strongest NE I have ever sailed.

Nowhere to hide from the wind. Marmong was just about OK.

Marmong Point, NSW, AU. What a Saturday!!! Best sail for ages. Isonic 110 and 6 meter retro in a solid NE gusting to 20 maybe a bit more. Got a good gybe in too planned right through the chop which was awesome! Good to have some company on the fin with Ian, Glenn and Gert doing some proper sailing!

Hydrofoil 155 Flow 1500 Revo 5.2

Well no lack of wind or chop today. Gusts over 20kn.

Played it safe and kept it down most of the time.

Coal Point  NSW Au

Skywing 105L, 1430 carve, 4m unit

Straight over to the sand islands - it wasn't any more fun over there, so straight back home.

There needs to be a new category for the person who can go the slowest in the biggest wind - I've got that nailed.

Jimmy's beach, winda woppa, wing+fin. Skywing 94ltr, Fly 5.4, hps830. Getting too much quickly, needed a smaller one. Then 120, kar 6.3, 35cm.
Packed the windsurfari bus last night for a mission down south but this morning with the sky all red, and every time i go to Budgy latley storms come and it dies, i couldn't do it, abort mission. So down to winda woppa rather than int he 4x4 out the beach, it was cool to sail from there. Easy up wind, not so easy down wind in chop.
Many kiters on the spit, too many, way more dangerous than the odd turtle or shark as i nearly had two crash into me not looking on first run.
Anyway, a good day. Honkin nor easter.

Budgewoi Lake, NSW, AU

mistral 91sl, 7m m4, 19 techtonic.

First sail at budgy in years. still an amazing place, so flat in spots & the ruff stuff isnt ruff.

way out of practice, nothing felt right, lots of changing things.

8 or 10 other peopl;e there.

launched from 7th ave, seemed to be the spot.

Nerong NSW

NE 5-20 knots

Mikes Lab Formula, Sailworks 6.0 Retro, Axis 1099

Only half the data from the Mini Motion came through. Had 17.2 knots 2 sec and 21km distance.

Stayed in the bay most of the time. Went looking for wind but not worth the travel.

69 runs mostly 200m due to the angle of the breeze.

Maybe should have used smaller front wing but quick takeoffs were the order of the day.

Finished up here now so back to the lake next Saturday.

Marmong Point, NSW, AU.

Big E NE today ,10-20 ish at times.

Had a few runs on foil gear but not fun trying to go slow in the gusts , but still manage a scary 18knots.

So out on the fin gear with Bryce for a few runs. (Note , He is rather stoked with the new to hin Isonic 110.

Isonic 117 , Switchblade 7m,  Hurricane 41. Way more comfortable on the fin but not so kind on the body..

18-23kts NE Budgewoi Lake, NSW, AU level 0.28m

 Sailed 12 - 3.30pm with board changes

I'll post from my garmin . I often find the mini gives better results but it's locked up again.Yell If I can get it to work tomorrow I'll post from it .

6.5m Turbo - Rs4 ( 112ltres) alpha- 21.5cms FF ( Cutdown 24cms ). I'm happy with the alpha as the 2 sec was 24kts at that stage.

5.5m Mach 2 - RS2 ( 90ltre) - 22cms Atomic

 then RS1 ( 80ltres) - 16.5cms FF

Fun and a good workout. Disappointed with the 2 sec. I felt I should have got better than that. Undecided Got the 2 sec on the 90ltre in the chop. I need to learn where to go to find flatwater and the best wind. I went up higher than normal but still not enough apparently. It was surprisingly deep Surprised

Went out on the 6.5m and big board at 1st as I expected it to be patchy.. It wasn't, I could have been on the 90, but had fun practising gybes.. Got a few I was happy with although no decent alphas.

Came in and got the 90ltre but by now the gusts were too much for me to gybe much.

After a while I figured if I wasn't gybing I may as well get the smaller board to make the most of the wind.

I'm going to have to try the custom 17cms pepe I had made.. I've only used it once. It would be faster than the FF but the fangy is my comfort zone.Embarassed

I know it won't let go doing bearaways in chop and it goes upwind well..

I'll have to push myself and get used to the Pepe..It's supposed to be able to hold larger sails on the 90ltre..Undecided

 Brian is killing it!

 Pugs , Brian , Mike , Greg F , Greg K , Russ B , and assorted others.
